This has been bugging me for awhile now, thought might as well make a topic out of it i rarely make topics BUT....... here Compared to Beerus, God of Destruction, how strong is [Super Saiyan] God? I suppose if Beerus’ strength is a 10, [Super Saiyan] God would be right about 6. Only, Saiyans rapidly increase in strength as they fight against strong opponents, so the longer they fought, the more that gap would shrink, and it might even be possible for them to eventually turn the tables. Incidentally, I guess Whis would be about a 15. The statement everyone gets the whole 6,10,15 thing from: Did u guys notice how AT says the longer saiyans fight the stronger they get? And the possibility of goku getting the upper hand in the fight? Is AT being senile here and contused the whole zenkais and withwhat he said? or did he just create this from thin air? thought anyone |

Piccolo also gained 7 points from fighting Raditz. Seriously, it's cool with me. I always thought Saiyans worked in a way similar to that. There was probably other cases which the gap was too big for some thing like that to matter. |

The Piccolo part I think is just a note of a minor mistake and if it was through battling, its only seven points and kick of expected. You just finished this huge battle with a Saiyan, had your arm ripped off and barely took him down. Much like training with a strong opponent I'm sure that fight would at least pick up a little bit of strength after the end. As for the topic, much like many of the new and hip things Toriyama, its pretty clear he's just bringing it out of his hind end. As far as I know, we don't see this anywhere in the series, at least in the way its being implied by Toriyama. They get stronger through zenkais and stuff, but there was never a point that I saw where a significantly weaker opponent managed to get above the stronger one through willpower and determination unless it was through a specific mean like an item or a transformation or an amplification. To me, AT is just speaking random stuff now. Just as Babidi is apparently his own father now and Boo is no longer his creation. If he didn't mistake it for Zenkai this to me, its another thing he made up on the spot. |

If we go by that, shouldn't Goku have closed the gap on Cell? Instead the exact opposite happened. |

Maybe Cell's Saiyan genes were making him stronger...making the gap stay the same, lol? |

True lol, didn't consider that. How about Vegeta vs Recoome? He clearly wasn't getting more strength in that battle. |

Base Goku vs Freeza. Goku was on par/slightly inferior the whole time. Pretty good example I think since the fight lasted for a decent while before either of them upped their powers, and if Goku got stronger it'd definitely be noticeable because he'd gain an advantage. |

maybe theres a limit to how much damage one can take and the gap they have to cover otherwise a saiyan would almost never lose then and i guess recoome was not one of those cases( meaning vegeta was too beat up and coudlnt cover the gap in time) just thinking aloud here |

To be fair that fight wasn't all that long. Only around 30 pages including a few at Kaio's planet. |

Long enough if Saiyans "rapidly increase in strength." |

Saying that intense fighting makes for good training is kind of stating the obvious I think, something that shouldn't be any newer for Saiyans than for anyone else. Kind of like me saying, the more I run, the more calories I burn off. It's like...no s***. |
